Put your hands on a Free $ 1000 Techno Machine
Put your hands on a Free 2000 Techno Machinesometimes I do not feel like admitting it, but I am nostalgic . I like 80s music, old kind of computer games (Street Fighter, Defender .. come on!) And classic techno, the machines.
Why?
I think they by and forged out of today's music what it is. Machines like the TB303, TR909, JD800 and the famous Moog have what effect they made to dance and techno music! The rise in popularity of techno, that is, with the creators and the audience was down to the cool sounds and global tolerance (sound) between the machines were the key.
made in some cases numbers were limited and the increase in popularity meant only two things. 1) An increase in the same old songs, edited versions, which sounded like everyway and 2) was Price in overdrive. Machines like the TB303 were for fools money. This trend is today. You can buy one of these machines between 00-00.
And why?
The answers are old favorites, "because you see the lights move," "Its just those big, winding selected" - and so on. Nostalgia is holding me here, especially if you want to make techno. Sure they were great sounding machine, sure, if you do not have their sounds in your music you were so old fashoined ... but for 00!

This is not fantasies of a person who never ever had one. I have a Roland MC202. I love the little bag of tricks. The little rubber keyboard is new and the controls are cool. However, if all the violins from the road. Once you away Ooooohhh ... it really is not anything left. That's the problem for me.
Once the coolness has worn off, you have to go through extra work to hook it into your set-up. Do you have the sample loop from the machine? Buy a Sync-Box? Have you MIDIfy (cost extra cash)? I do not mean all doom and gloom, and if you do have one, keep it cool, they work to begin with. But if you do not ... to do well, look at the other options.
There are two good alternatives out there in Internet land that can help us.
1) Selected Websites. Today house sized sample loops and single-hit sounds from the various machines. Housed in sample packs, you will notice that the sound may sound similar, because the sampler has twisted the dial a little and then sampled the sound. Now you have many sounds changed little . These are pretty cool. The only problem is that you get the samplers idea of ??a good example. Also you do not get together all the dials turned all too limited. But as a free source of nostalgic sounds they can not be beat.
So we have identified a sound source (free), but we have noticed some problems- a lack of freedom , and because we are a creative bunch, we have to find another way.
2) VSTs. Wow, what a revolution in the music world. A fantastic resource to help the musicians that make us to music with little or no money. VSTs are either effects (like distortion) or they are a type of music sound device (such as synths (called soft synths), drum machines, etc). Some are stand-alone programs, or some need a host program. The most famous softsynth now online rebirth , the emulator TB303 and TR909. It's really cool, the machine emulates very well, but this is the best softsynth that it is free. Now it displays a wealth of VSTS, it free and offers great synth sounds and great effects.
The possibility of sound production with VSTs become infinite. The actual sound of the sounds become endless, so it should now unique-sounding music out there. Are there any disadvantages? Well, not really. Some sound the same, and some of the reward of those are expensive, they are cool, but too expensive.
So, what you can do is add VSTs together , add VST effect plug-in on a synthesizer. The cool thing is. Nostalgic sounds can be processed by these plug ins to make them more up-to-date and get to add the impression of your request.
So, back to our original question, we need a 00-machine technology. Well, as any diplomat states, yes and no. If I had a TR909 I would reserve the right to sample and then add to give VST effects, which sounds more flavor because they are good, no doubt, but the music moves on and you have to follow. If I am not a TR909 I'm not upset, I would look for that would be for the samples from the different sampling sites, add back the VST effects and get the sound I want ... for free.
If you have a low-budget (or no budget) have, there is now no obsicles to stop these new sounds to make your music sound as it was with, was a 00 + set-up.
